Research on delegation of government tasks

During the economic crisis government tasks are being
closely studied. The discussions concern both the obligations, fulfilment
whereof must be continued by the state, and those fulfilment whereof should be
transferred to private individuals. The choice of the most appropriate model for the
specific situation can reduce the costs of implementation of a task, improve
the quality and increase the process efficiency. In order to improve the legal
regulation associated with the delegation of government tasks, Law Office
“Eversheds Bitāns”, by request of the State Chancellery, carried out a research
“Analysis and recommendations concerning delegation of government tasks.”

will.

Crisis forces to use provisional measures more often

property provisional measures, which only court and the State Revenue Service
is entitled to impose. The number of cases for the past four years is

Every day attorneys at law feel that the interest of
investors intensifies. Most of the attorneys points out that the clients’
interest in transactions has resumed. In 2008, when the crisis started, large
purchase transactions went down and then stopped at all until mid 2010. But
some legal proceedings like dispute or insolvency went up. The information
provided by Register of Insolvency shows that there was 707 insolvency proceedings
proposed in the first three months of 2010. In first three months of 2011 there
was only 175 insolvency proceedings proposed.
