Liena Rubene, Attorney at law, has joined “Eversheds Bitāns” Law Office
On April 26th, 2010 Liena Rubene joined “Eversheds Bitāns” Law Office, and on May 27th she sworn to Supreme Court chairman and became a sworn Attorney- at -law. Lienas main specialty is Commercial Law; therefore she will be major support for our commercial law specialist’s team and provide even more effective support for client cases.
Previously Liena worked in Law Office „Kantsons & Ozoliņš”, „Deloitte Latvia” Ltd., Procurement Monitoring Bureau, and most recently done an internship in European Commission's Competition Directorate General, Brussels. Also Lienes hobby is arbitrage, several times she participated in Willem C. Vis International Commercial arbitration lead (Vienna, Austria), as a player and as an arbitrator.
She started her studies in University of Latvia Faculty of Law, where obtained the bachelor's degree in Law (LLB), studies continued in Riga Stradins University, where obtained a master's degree (MBA) in Business Management and in Queen Mary College, University of London (London, United Kingdom), where obtained the master's degree in Corporate and Commercial law (CCL).
